About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Fund Onboarding Specialist to join our client onboarding and implementation team. This role will focus on the onboarding of Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), Private Credit, and Real Estate (RE) funds, ensuring that client and fund data is accurately interpreted, configured, and set up within our internal systems. Experience with Investran and/or LemonEdge is essential, along with a strong understanding of fund structures, KYC/CDD processes, and technical systems implementation. You will have the opportunity to:
- Lead or support the end-to-end onboarding of new clients and fund structures, ensuring timely and accurate system setup.
- Review and interpret complex fund documentation (e.g., LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters) to accurately translate terms into system records.
- Configure and validate fund, investor, and transaction data within Investran, LemonEdge, or other fund accounting platforms.
- Perform thorough KYC/CDD checks in coordination with compliance and legal teams, ensuring all regulatory and internal standards are met.
- Liaise with fund managers, administrators, legal counsel, and internal teams to collect, verify, and process required onboarding documentation.
- Assist in defining and documenting onboarding workflows and procedures, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a technical SME for onboarding-related systems and tools, assisting with troubleshooting and data validation.
- Maintain a strong understanding of various private fund structures, waterfall terms, investor reporting requirements, and regulatory considerations.
About You
You will be able to display a desire to learn, grow and roll up your sleeves to build a business, while simultaneously handling multiple assignments. The following attributes would also be advantageous:
- Experience in fund onboarding, investor services, operations, or fund administration within financial services.
- Strong familiarity with Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, and/or Real Estate investment structures.
- Hands-on experience with Investran and/or LemonEdge (required).
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and operationalize fund legal documentation.
- Understanding of KYC/CDD, AML regulations, and investor onboarding requirements.
- Strong systems and technical aptitude; confident navigating complex data structures and operational platforms.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
