Position: Customer Support Specialist
Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid)
Pay: $20 to $22/hour
Experience: 1 year of customer support experience with an understanding of software as a service (SaaS).
Type: Full-time; Temporary
Greene Resources is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for responding to inbound customer inquiries.
Job Description:
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and live chat, ensuring timely, accurate, and friendly service.
- Maintain performance targets for ticket volume, satisfaction ratings, and response times.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Document detailed notes for peers or managers when escalating tickets or chats.
- Participate in team meetings and support colleagues as needed.
- Report bugs to the product triage team and assist in testing resolutions when necessary.
- Contribute ideas and feedback for process improvements.
- Work independently while actively contributing to the success of the overall team.
Position Requirements:
- Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience using helpdesk/ticketing systems (FreshDesk preferred).
- Ability to approach each customer interaction with positive intent and professionalism.
- Self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions.
- Flexible, adaptable, and optimistic when faced with change.
- Willingness to mentor and share knowledge with others.
