Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. This role supports concrete installation projects by preparing worksites, assisting with pouring and finishing concrete, and ensuring a safe, efficient job site. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning, leveling, and setting up forms
- Assist with mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete
- Use hand and power tools to smooth and finish surfaces
- Help install rebar, wire mesh, and other reinforcements
- Remove forms and clean tools and equipment after use
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist skilled tradespeople as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous construction or concrete experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Drivers license preferred but not required
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- May require early mornings, evenings, or weekend work depending on project needs
