Our organization is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to become a part of our team.

Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 1 PM.

Your Role as a Dental Hygienist

In the position of Dental Hygienist, you will be recognized as a vital clinical provider and patient advocate. About Our Practice

Our practice, like every office supported by our organization, is tailored to the community and the patients we serve. With the assistance of a practice manager and a highly skilled on-site team, along with a vast network of experts nationwide, you will have access to all the resources and support necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required).
  • Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care.
  • Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office.

Physical Requirements

  • Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office or supervising doctor, with or without reasonable accommodations. Adjustments may be made to assist individuals with disabilities in fulfilling the essential functions of the role.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 45 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to participate in virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
  • To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment. Arrangements for the test will be made during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided. This requirement does not apply in Florida and Tennessee.
