PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: York PA 17402 – 100% On-site
  • Payrate: $64.27/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday 11:00 AM–7:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Pharmacist role focuses on ensuring the safe, accurate dispensing of medications and providing exceptional patient consultation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately accept, prepare, and dispense prescription medications.
  • Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential overuse or interaction risks.
  • Maintain all pharmacy records and patient information in accordance with legal and professional standards.
  • Advise patients on proper medication usage, dosage, side effects, and potential interactions.
  • Provide patient education on over-the-counter medications and medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters).
  • Compound and prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as needed.
  • Supervise and support pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks.
  • Manage pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Active pharmacist license in the state of Kansas.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting preferred.
