Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care / ICU

Location - Mayfield Heights, OH

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Hillcrest Hospital is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse for a night shift ICU position. Candidates must have strong recent ICU experience and a solid permanent critical care background prior to travel assignments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 Months of Recent ICU/Critical Care Experience
• Minimum 18 Months of Permanent ICU Experience Prior to Any Travel Assignments
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License (Required at Submission)

Required Certifications

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients
• Perform advanced patient assessments and continuous monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care treatments
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary critical care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to ICU protocols, patient safety standards, and evidence-based practices

Orientation Requirements

During orientation, candidates must successfully complete:

• ECG Rhythm Recognition Test
• SafeMedicate Assessment
