<h3>Job Description</h3>
Job Title: Certified Medical Coders
Location: Bronx, NY 10461
Schedule: Day
Duration: 3+ Months
Pay Range: $35/hr - $37/Hour.
 
Duties:
<ul>
<li>Medical coding in an acute care setting.</li>
<li>Must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder).</li>
<li>knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines.</li>
<li>Federal billing guidelines; knowledge of anatomy, physiology &amp; disease processes.</li>
<li>Ability to research coding-related issues.</li>
<li>Competence in coder training.</li>
<li>Must have CCS and be knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application.</li>
</ul>
 
Skills:
<ul>
<li>Three years’ experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of ICD-10</li>
</ul>
 
Required Experience:
<ul>
<li>Experience with EPIC and 3M is required</li>
<li>Candidate with both in/outpatient coding experience will be ideal.</li>
<li>CCS Certification is required.</li>
</ul>
 
Education: 
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma/GED</li>
<li>AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCS.</li>
