RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
\n
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required in equivalent size facility
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must be willing to obtain if offered)
\n• Additional preferred certifications: NRP, NIHSS
\n• Cerner charting system experience preferred
\n• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Work in 42-bed emergency department with daily census of 200 patients
\n• Must be available to work some holidays
\n• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, trauma care, and psychiatric emergencies
\n• Perform triage, obtain 12-lead EKGs, blood product administration, IV management, and various emergency procedures
\n• Handle diverse emergency cases including trauma, medical emergencies, behavioral health, and pediatric emergencies
\n• Texas nursing license must be active before start date (pending license accepted with submission)
\n• Local radius requirement: 50 miles
\n• RTO (Return to Obligation) required with submission
\n• Complete documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
\n• On-site drug screening required with comprehensive panel testing

The emergency department is equipped to handle all levels of emergency care from pediatric to geriatric patients, with advanced capabilities for trauma, cardiac, and critical care emergencies.
