Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a dedicated professional to provide speech-language services in an elementary school setting. This contract position is located in Santa Fe, NM, for the duration of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies
Location:
- Santa Fe, NM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain professional documentation
- Stay updated on best practices in speech and language therapy
