Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Fremont, CA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide contract services for the current school year. This role involves delivering speech and language therapy to students across all grade levels, focusing on individualized treatment plans and collaboration with educators and families to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills
- Document student progress and update reports as required
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure and certification
- Experience working with a diverse student population in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language assessments and interventions
- Ability to work collaboratively with school teams and families
- Effective communication and organizational skills
