Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Advisor/Specialist VI to champion health, safety, and environmental standards across our operations. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and promote a culture of safety excellence. Your expertise will help prevent incidents, reduce risks, and foster a safe working environment for all team members. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of HSE policies aligned with local, national, and international standards such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and workers' compensation law requirements.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, root cause analyses, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver comprehensive training and development programs on occupational health, safety procedures, first aid, CPR, and emergency response protocols to staff at all levels.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices within manufacturing or operational facilities.
- Prepare detailed report writing on safety audits, incident investigations, compliance status, and improvement initiatives for management review.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure OSHA recordkeeping requirements are met accurately and timely.
- Facilitate ongoing safety meetings, promote EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) awareness campaigns, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in safety performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments with a strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, OSHA training, EPA regulations, and workers' compensation law are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and conduct effective report writing on safety issues.
- Knowledge of environmental management practices and experience with report documentation related to EHS compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging training sessions and develop clear safety documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
