Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in the Derry, NH area. This contract role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2026, supporting an elementary caseload within the schools special education program. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to elementary students with special education needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to support student progress and inclusion.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working in a school setting is required.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule: Full-time, 32-37.5 hours per week
