Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Specialized instruction is needed for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a full-time contract position within a K-12 school setting in Circle Pines, MN. This role supports a low-incidence population ranging from birth to age 22, serving approximately 36 students. The position is onsite with a contract duration through June 9, 2026, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized educational instruction and support tailored to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Collaborate closely with families, educators, and service providers to ensure communication access and promote student success.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals specific to students needs.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations relating to special education services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH).
• Minnesota teaching license.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other relevant communication methods.
