Our organization is experiencing significant growth in the Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care sector, offering a unique opportunity for work-life balance with no on-call duties or weekend shifts!

We are looking for a healthcare provider to fill a part-time role, working 32 hours over four days, across two locations in Frederick, MD, and Walkersville, MD: Autumn Lake Healthcare at Ballenger Creek and Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glade Valley. This position is open to either a nurse practitioner or a physician assistant, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience required.

The hourly wage for this role ranges from $56.73 to $59.13, along with an incentive compensation bonus program that has no cap.

Key Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider will report to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager. This role involves collaboration with the Center Leadership Team to meet specific goals and priorities for each center. Additionally, the Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician to deliver patient-centered medical care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing primary and urgent care services to residents in nursing centers.
  • Collaborating with other medical professionals to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery.
  • Working alongside Center Leadership to fulfill our mission of enhancing lives through compassionate care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a valid registered nurse license. For nurse practitioners, certification from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master's Degree in Nursing is required, focusing on Older Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialties. Other specialties may be considered based on experience and organizational needs. Physician Assistants must graduate from an ARC-PA accredited program and pass the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to obtain the PAC designation, along with state licensure and NCCPA certification.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A minimum of two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations.
  • For states permitting practice, an unrestricted professional license and DEA for APRNs and PAs in each state of practice.

Note: Eligibility for full-time benefits requires a minimum of 30 hours per week. Salary Range

The salary for this position is between $56.73 and $59.13 per hour.
