Contract to Hire- HR Assistant- Pay up to $30/HR (DOE)- Hybrid Schedule Avaialble

KeyStaff Professionals is seeking a HR Assistant to support a busy, hands-on environment. This role will handle a wide range of responsibilities, including onboarding and orientations, HRIS data entry and transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with open enrollment. You’ll also serve as the main point of contact for staffing agencies and manage related documentation.

This position is people-focused and will require regular interaction on the production floor, communicating with employees and supervisors, addressing minor issues such as tardiness or performance concerns, and providing coaching when needed. Larger employee relations matters will be escalated.

Qualifications:

2–4 years of HR experience as an HR Assistant or Talent Acquisition Specialist
HR experience in manufacturing required
Comfortable working around individuals with special needs
Strong organizational and documentation skills
On-site 4 days per week, with 1 remote day (Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday only)
Hours: 8:00am–4:30pm (flexible until 5:00pm)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced setting
Collaborative and team-oriented, with a positive and approachable style
Passion for supporting employees and creating a welcoming environment
