Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join our team on a contract basis in Golden Valley, Minnesota. In this role, you will provide essential support to field leaders and employees, ensuring smooth HR operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position requires professionalism, adaptability, and a strong ability to manage employee relations and compliance matters effectively.

Responsibilities:
• Provide daily HR support to four field leaders, ensuring all employee-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Manage onboarding, terminations, and updates for employees, collaborating with payroll and utilizing well-documented processes.
• Investigate and document employee relations issues, including harassment, inappropriate behavior, and other concerns, while providing coaching and escalation support.
• Assist in de-escalating conflicts and making real-time decisions to resolve workplace challenges.
• Compile and summarize employee relations documentation for leadership review.
• Partner with the Director of Safety on work compensation cases and related safety concerns.
• Monitor and support a large, mobile hourly workforce, addressing unique challenges associated with their nomadic nature.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage HR processes and employee data effectively.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, preferably supporting large hourly employee bases such as manufacturing, construction, or retail.
• Proven expertise in handling employee relations issues and conducting investigations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to coach, document, and de-escalate workplace conflicts.
• Familiarity with compliance practices and HR policies.
• Experience working with ADP Workforce Now or similar HR systems.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Detail-oriented demeanor to effectively manage challenging employee interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when documenting and summarizing HR issues.
