This opportunity is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support within a dynamic school environment in Woodbridge, VA. The position offers a contract role with a start date ASAP and extends through June 12th, 2026. Candidates will work onsite across multiple school locations within the district, engaging with students to help improve their communication skills in a structured, supportive setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia SLP License required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Strong skills in diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders in school-aged children
Location:
- Woodbridge, VA, with work assignments at various district locations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning efforts
This is a 35-hour per week onsite assignment, typically structured as 7 hours per day during regular school hours, delivering impactful services in a supportive educational community.
