We are looking for a dedicated Benefits Coordinator to oversee and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring seamless administration and compliance with relevant regulations. This long-term contract position is based near Montclair, New Jersey, and offers the opportunity to work closely with various teams to support employee well-being and benefits needs. The role will also involve utilizing Workday for benefits management and maintaining accurate records.


Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.

• Coordinate employee benefits enrollment, modifications, and terminations promptly and accurately.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies related to benefits and leave administration.

• Maintain and update employee benefits records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

• Process and track Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, including eligibility determination and leave usage monitoring.

• Communicate with employees and managers to provide guidance on leave policies, rights, and responsibilities.

• Collaborate with third-party administrators and healthcare providers to address benefits and leave-related inquiries.

• Utilize Workday to manage benefits transactions, life event changes, and employee data updates.

• Audit and reconcile benefits information within Workday to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

• Generate reports and analyze trends related to benefits enrollment and utilization.

• Proven experience in benefits administration, including health, dental, and retirement plans.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits and leave policies.
• Hands-on experience with managing FMLA requests and other leave administration processes.
• Proficiency in using Workday for benefits management, data reconciliation, and reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees, managers, and external partners.
• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance tracking.
• Ability to analyze benefits data and provide actionable insights.
