ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Brian Maddox State Farm Insurance is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist, aka Director of First Impressions, Air Traffic Controller, etc. This is an extremely important position in our agency in that this role is the first point of contact with our customers who call or visit the office so good first impressions are imperative.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome customers, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant or customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Knowledge of insurance terminology and procedures is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to ask customers about life insurance.
