Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with strong OR experience and ARRT certification to work varied shifts in a hospital X-Ray department.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital-based medical imaging department, primarily focused on X-Ray
- Majority of time spent supporting the operating room (OR)
- Care for outpatient, inpatient, ED, OR, NICU, pediatric, vented, and sedated patients
- Perform whole body, musculoskeletal, neuro, and portable X-rays
- No fluoroscopy procedures required
- Average daily patient load is 15-20
- Utilize Carestream portables, GE X-Ray rooms, and GE C-arm equipment
- EMR is Epic; Sectra is also used
- Varied 40-hour shifts with weekend, call, and holiday coverage discussed during interview
- No floating required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- One week of facility and unit orientation provided
- Scrub color is provided blue OR procedural scrubs
- Free parking available
- Travelers must live more than 100 miles from the facility; local travelers not accepted
- Approval for time off is required

- Current ARRT certification and BLS required
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential required
- At least 1 year of experience considered; 3 years preferred
- Must have significant operating room (OR) experience
- Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required
- C-arm skills necessary
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- License required if applicable
