Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide occupational therapy services in a K-12 school setting covering multiple sites in El Dorado Hills and Rescue, California. The role is a full-time, contract assignment to cover maternity leave through May. The focus is on delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with moderate to severe needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct occupational therapy services to students
- Conducting assessments and evaluations
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborating with educational staff to support student needs
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Prior experience working in California schools
- Comfort with an itinerant schedule across multiple school sites
- Ability to manage a moderate to severe caseload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
Location: This role is onsite only in El Dorado Hills and Rescue, CA.
