POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships with potential clients. The primary goal will be to generate new business opportunities and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively research and identify potential leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
- Evaluation of leads to determining their potential value to the company based on predefined criteria such as budget, need, authority, and timeline (BANT).
- Initiate contact with leads through personalized emails, cold calls, and social media messages to introduce our products/services and establish rapport.
- Submit proposals aimed at securing business with a target of 1.2 million in service sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects by understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and providing relevant information to nurture them through the sales funnel.
- Schedule meetings or product demonstrations between qualified leads and the appropriate sales representatives to further explore opportunities and move prospects closer to conversion.
- Track and manage leads and opportunities using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and progress.
- Work closely with the sales team to align strategies, share insights, and provide feedback on lead quality and market trends to optimize the sales process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to enhance your knowledge and effectiveness in lead generation and sales strategies.

EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience with 3 years working in the UPS/Generator Industry
- Must be able to work in high stress, high demand environment.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Enjoyable time and project management skills
- Strategic and tactical thinker and multi-tasker
- Strengths in problem solving follow up and details.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at a functional level
- Strong customer orientation
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working experience with NetSuite System or similar is a plus.
- Ability to work well with others.

Base Pay Range$40—$40 USD
