Production Line Lead
About the Role:
A production line lead supervises daily manufacturing operations, ensuring the production team meets safety, quality, and efficiency targets. They are responsible for setting up production lines, training staff, monitoring output, and ensuring compliance with company procedures, acting as a crucial link between production workers and management
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or packing environment, typically requiring previous experience as a machine operator or high-performing laborer.
- Ability to delegate tasks, motivate teams, and train new employees.
- Familiarity with production equipment, quality standards (e.g., GMP, ISO), and basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift heavy materials (often up to 50 lbs).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the production line for operation, ensuring machines are functioning correctly and necessary materials are available.
- Supervise, train, and coach team members on the assembly line, managing staff assignments, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and productive work environment.
- Enforce all safety protocols (PPE), quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Complete production logs, inventory records, and safety checklists accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned
