- Flexibility to start as soon as possible and work full-time hours
Core Responsibilities:
- Directly assist 8th-grade students with disabilities in classroom activities and assignments
- Implement individualized strategies under the direction of certified teachers and special education professionals
- Encourage student participation, social interaction, and independence throughout the school day
- Provide support in managing classroom behavior, reinforcing positive conduct, and modeling appropriate interpersonal skills
- Monitor and document student progress to help inform future instruction and support plans
- Help set up learning materials, classroom resources, and assist during school routines and transitions
