DarkStar Intelligence is looking for a Training SME (Facilitator) in targeting methodology and tradecraft to plan, develop, coordinate. implement, instruct, manage, and maintain/update a comprehensive series of courses/classes covering a spectrum of learning levels from introductory to senior/expert per DLA, COE, and Joint Staff Joint Training Standards on joint target intelligence.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
Schedule (FT/PT): Full-Time
Travel Required: CONUS and OCONUS
Shift: Day
Remote Type: None/On-Site
Security Clearance: TS/SCI + CI polygraph preferred
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Research, characterize, and assess adversary target systems and entities to determine and document critical vulnerabilities that, when engaged with joint lethal or non-lethal tires (known as kinetic and non-kinetic targeting), help achieve the joint force commander's objectives.
- Select and nominate targets for engagement, assist in determining the suitability and feasibility of appropriate weapons and capabilities, and assess the effects of joint tires on target systems, targets, and target elements.
- Focus areas include, but are not limited to, the Joint Targeting Cycle, target development, target materials, target systems analysis, battle damage and combat assessments, target list and materials management, collateral damage assessments, precision point mensuration, and associated targeting tools and applications/systems such as the Joint Targeting Toolkit, Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System, Modernized Integrated Database, and Electronic Target Folders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of DoD/military experience in task area and experience as a trained and certified instructor.
- TS/SCI + CI poly, or willingness and ability to acquire a CI poly
Desired Qualifications
- 15+ years of DoD/military experience in task area to include INDOPACOM AoR assignments at the operational or strategic levels and certified experience as a curriculum developer and a DIA instructor is highly desired.
