Overview: The Retail Marketing Manager provides leadership and oversight of marketing campaigns and ensures that data-driven decisions enhance the overall strategy. The Marketing Manager leads strategic and creative development for retail campaigns across all marketing elements. This person works with the Retail team to create programs, oversee data management, target audience analysis, and campaign measurement. Responsible for crafting compelling narratives using analytics to drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop strategic marketing and communications plans in alignment with MCU’s core objectives and mission, vision, and values.
  • Manage all marketing research including tracking studies, segmentation studies and creative research.
  • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate, manage, and execute on Marketing strategy as it correlates to the organization's strategy.
  • Create forward-thinking strategies and ideas to reach new members across all marketing vehicles - branch materials, website, digital, social and sponsorships.
  • Establish KPI and ROI goals and create reporting and dashboards for key initiatives. Leverage data to support marketing strategy and articulate compelling business cases.
  • Responsible for the overarching direction of the branch, credit card and business development program, including strategy, execution of campaigns, implementing personalization and segmentation strategies and promotions.
  • Supports key priorities of cross sell, lead generation, re-engagement, member acquisition and retention.
  • Oversees data and analysis for the marketing department, including but not limited to: list generation, data analysis, recommendations based on data analysis, forecast reporting, and ad hoc requests from departments/Executives.
  • Maintain ongoing business relationships with key partners, vendors, and consultants for data analytics, creative development, and targeting/segmentation data.
  • Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years creating and implementing credit union or bank marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with creative and agency service providers.
  • Expert in Excel and manipulating data. Dashboards, preferably PowerBI, Raddon MCIF, and Claritas P$ycle Segment.
  • Demonstrated success in planning, organizing, leading people and activities. Ability to motivate, direct and coach staff.
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Technologically proficient.
