Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Resource Special Education Teacher to support students in a resource setting within a school district in Riverside, CA. This role focuses on providing targeted academic interventions and ensuring students with mild to moderate disabilities are successful in both general and special education environments.

Responsibilities
Provide small-group and push-in instruction aligned with student IEP goals
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Support students with mild to moderate learning disabilities in core academic areas
Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and instruction
Monitor student progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families and staff
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions
Caseload Details
Resource classroom (mild to moderate disabilities)
Combination of push-in and pull-out services
Manageable caseload with strong team support
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field
Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain)
Experience in a resource or inclusion setting preferred
Strong collaboration and organizational skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.34 to $48.34. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
