CNC Machinist | Kentwood, MI
Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Kentwood seeking experienced CNC Machinists. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
- Perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts to ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and programming.
- Maintain and clean machinery, tooling, and work area according to safety standards.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials and operations.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC machines (mills, lathes).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and experience with various precision measurement tools.
- Ability to perform machine maintenance and troubleshoot common issues.
