Controller | Mason, MI
Salary Range: $120,000 - $169,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, providing variance analysis.
- Manage cost accounting activities, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and production variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and financial performance.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support operational decision-making and drive profitability.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and developing key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing a finance team and collaborating cross-functionally.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with a major manufacturing ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365 F&O).
- Experience supporting multi-site or international manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with robotic process automation (RPA) or other financial automation tools.
