The UH Parma Medical Center Cath Lab performs a variety of state of the art procedures giving our team a well-rounded experience in coronary and peripheral disease procedures. Cardiac Cath Lab RNs may scrub, circulate or monitor cases.

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

Shift: Hours: 4-10 hr. shifts/week; 6:30- am-5:00 pm or 7:00 am- 5:30 pm Call Requirement: 30 minutes arrival to hospital after page.

Qualifications
1 year RN experience preferred.\n\nEducation Qualifications\n\n

- Other Accredited Program: Diploma in Nursing or
- (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)\
- (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or (MN) Master in Nursing (Preferred)

\n\nSkills and Abilities\n\n\n
- \n
- Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency)
- Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency)

\n\nLicenses and Certifications\n\n
- \n
- Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire) and
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit. Refer to ACLS/PALS Unit Requirements document found on DWP Nursing Portal to determine requirements by unit.
