Investment Operations Support Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates for an Investment Operations Support Analyst role with a highly successful investment management firm. The Investment Operations Support Analyst will serve as a key resource supporting portfolio accounting, investment operations, and critical business applications utilized across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of investment operations, portfolio accounting, trade support, or application support experience within financial services. Experience with Bloomberg and SQL required.
This is a permanent position paying $85,000 - $100,000 base salary plus bonus eligibility. This role is 100% remote and follows a schedule of 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM ET.
Responsibilities:
• Investigate and resolve application, transaction, and data-related issues impacting investment operations teams.
• Support portfolio accounting and investment operations systems utilized across multiple business functions.
• Maintain and validate security reference data to ensure accuracy across platforms and reporting processes.
• Utilize Bloomberg to research securities and support ongoing data management activities.
• Execute SQL queries to analyze data, troubleshoot operational issues, and support reporting requirements.
• Monitor daily operational workflows and assist with processing exceptions and reconciliations.
• Partner with Trading, Portfolio Accounting, Operations, and Technology teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Support trade lifecycle activities by researching discrepancies and coordinating solutions with internal stakeholders.
• Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and operational initiatives.
• Provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience within investment management, asset management, fund administration, custody, or financial services environments.
• Experience supporting investment operations, portfolio accounting, settlements, trade support, or security master functions.
• Working knowledge of fixed income securities and investment operations workflows.
• Experience utilizing Bloomberg in a professional environment.
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills, including queries, joins, updates, and data analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively across both business and technology teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
