We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist for an opportunity in Lake County, IL. This full-time role begins August 18, 2025, and runs Monday through Friday.
This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and student-focused environment. You'll work directly with students, teachers, and families to provide critical support and guidance that promotes educational and emotional success.
Position Details:
Position: School Psychologist Pk-MS
Location: Lake County, IL
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling services to students, addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies that promote student success.
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and provide recommendations for appropriate services and accommodations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Advocate for students by connecting them with community resources and support services to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student well-being.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Illinois State Certification as a School Psychologist and Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Proven experience working with diverse student populations and implementing social-emotional interventions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
