Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within a school setting located in Santa Barbara, CA. This role involves delivering virtual speech therapy sessions using a dedicated online platform designed to enhance remote service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments through telepractice methods
- Implementing individualized therapy sessions for students via an interactive virtual platform
- Utilizing digital learning materials and resources to support student progress
- Collaborating with clinical and technical support teams to troubleshoot and optimize session effectiveness
- Managing schedules and documentation in compliance with school guidelines and therapy standards
Desired qualifications and skills:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and licensure appropriate for the state of California
- Proven experience in telespeech service delivery within educational environments
- Comfort and proficiency in using virtual platforms, including video conferencing through Zoom Pro
- Strong clinical expertise in speech and language assessment and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills for managing remote sessions effectively
