Position Overview
The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) plays a key role in supporting clinical procedures, maintaining an efficient operatory flow, and ensuring patient comfort. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident in both chairside assisting and clinical responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
- Manage infection control and OSHA compliance standards
- Support patient comfort, education, and post-op instructions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and materials
- Familiarity with dental software and digital charting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Commitment to patient care and clinical excellence
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in private practice
- Experience with digital scanners or advanced procedures
- CPR/BLS certification
