Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description
Perform routine grain testing procedures in an accurate and timely manner. Record and compile test results to prepare graphs, charts, and reports as required and requested by management. Communicate results to internal and external customers via Certificates of Analysis (COAs), verbal, or written documentation. Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies, and effectively communicating deviations from the standard to Lab Tech and management. Receive and document external testing results. Conduct routine quality control testing and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities. Actively participate in quality, food safety, and safety programs. Verify sufficient inventory of testing supplies and maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with lab instrumentation preferred but not required.
- Quick learning and ability to take direction.
- Experience in a GMP environment.
- Biology or Chemistry knowledge is a plus.
Work Environment
The Lab Technician will work in the quality lab, primarily on a swing shift between 2nd and 3rd shifts, with initial training on the first shift (7 AM-3 PM) for 6-8 weeks. The role requires flexibility for potential overtime to cover absences. The work involves both laboratory tasks and data entry. The facility operates under GMP standards and offers fantastic benefits and opportunities for growth.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
