Job Description
As a Robotic Garage Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our innovative parking system. This includes daily start-ups, safely recovering from any issues, and effective communication with team members about the garage's status. You will also maintain the garage's appearance and collect valuable data regarding customer usage and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe operation of the system daily, including start-ups and recoveries.
- Communicate effectively with attendants, technicians, and engineers.
- Maintain the garage appearance by sweeping and setting up portable signs.
- Collect and analyze data on parking patrons, new customers, and customer feedback.
Essential Skills
- Experience navigating and using Linux.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Passion or interest in robotics, technology, and engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to follow detailed instructions for safe garage operation.
- Willingness to support debugging in software or physical systems.
- Experience with computers, specifically Linux, to log issues and gather data.
- Understanding of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with hardware changes and software actions.
- Desire to take ownership and care for the garage's public impression.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and creative problem-solving.
- Team player with a passion for delivering a seamless user experience.

Work Environment
The work environment involves exposure to cold weather and may include periods of downtime. This role requires adaptability and patience, as well as the ability to work effectively in various conditions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
