Our organization is currently in search of a Full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Requirements for the Occupational Therapist Position:

  • Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.

  • Possession of a valid Occupational Therapy License in New York State is essential.

  • Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care environment is preferred; however, we welcome applications from new graduates with relevant experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess residents and create individualized OT treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

  • Select activities that empower residents to perform daily tasks independently.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and document residents' progress in occupational therapy through detailed reporting.

  • Ensure resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.

  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere among the healthcare team.
