Our organization is currently in search of a Full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist Position:

Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.

Possession of a valid Occupational Therapy License in New York State is essential.

Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric care environment is preferred; however, we welcome applications from new graduates with relevant experience.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assess residents and create individualized OT treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

Select activities that empower residents to perform daily tasks independently.

Monitor, evaluate, and document residents' progress in occupational therapy through detailed reporting.

Ensure resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.

Foster a collaborative atmosphere among the healthcare team.
