Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) are needed to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting. This contract position is located in Hanford, CA, with a start date of February 26 for the current school year. The role requires providing on-site speech and language services to meet the needs of diverse learners across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all applicable regulations and guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultation to classroom staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification, including CCC-SLP, for the therapist role; appropriate credentials for SLPA candidates
- Experience working within school settings, preferably servicing grades K-12
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to provide direct, on-site services and maintain a caseload efficiently
