A healthcare facility in Meridian, ID, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room for a rewarding 13-week contract assignment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and functional
- Assist in the care of patients undergoing surgery, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes during procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of surgical interventions and patient care activities
- Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies to ensure patient safety
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Proven experience in Operating Room nursing preferred
- Knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and practices
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Schedule/Hours:
- 8-hour day shifts
- Some on-call duties required
