Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to manage full-cycle billing for medical, dental, and behavioral health services. This role is responsible for accurate claims submission, payment posting, AR follow-up, denial resolution, and compliance with Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, and managed care guidelines.
This is an onsite, temporary opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:

Submit and track medical, dental, and behavioral health claims

Post insurance/patient payments and reconcile accounts

Monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding balances

Appeal denied or rejected claims
-
Ensure HIPAA compliance and payer guideline adherence

Maintain billing systems and generate reports
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
3+ years medical billing experience in a medical office
-
Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care claims & appeals
-
Knowledge of ICD, CPT, CDT, HCPCS coding
-
HIPAA compliance knowledge
-
Proficiency in practice management systems & Microsoft Office
Preferred:

FQHC experience
-
ECW (eClinicalWorks)
-
High claims volume experience
-
Coding experience
Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
