Are you passionate about leading a kitchen, delivering high-quality meals, and keeping operations running smoothly? Our client is looking for a Chef / Kitchen Managerto manage kitchen operations, support meal service, and maintain high standards for food safety and quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Order, receive, and properly store all food and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare, assemble, and serve meals for employees (breakfast and lunch), guests, and clients.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure all equipment is sanitized and in working order.
- Participate in preparation and service for sales meetings, tastings, and special events.
- Track and manage inventory, complete weekly food orders, and organize storage in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage.
- Collaborate with delivery personnel, employees, client vendors, and customers.
- Utilize Microsoft programs for ordering, inventory tracking, online meetings, and communication.
Here’s What Your Work History Needs to Show
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in restaurant management, hotels, hospitals, culinary instruction, or institutional kitchens.
- Current SERVESAFE Certification or completion of a sanitation course within the last 12 months (preferred).
- Current food handler’s card and compliance with federal, state, and local food safety requirements.
- Associate degree in hotel or institutional food preparation preferred.
- Previous experience managing inventory, ordering, meal prep, and kitchen operations.

- Location:Seattle, WA
- Salary:$75,000 DOE
- Assignment Type:Temp-to-Hire (Direct Hire considered for a superstar candidate)
- Schedule:Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- Compliance:Must maintain all required food safety certifications
