Job Summary:
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. You’ll work closely with our dispatch team to follow optimized delivery routes and ensure customer satisfaction with each interaction. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, and ready to represent our company with a friendly attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely Deliveries:
Transport goods from the warehouse to customers in a safe and timely manner, ensuring all deliveries are completed on schedule. - Customer Service:
Interact with customers in a professional, friendly manner, addressing any concerns or special delivery requests. Ensure customers receive their orders in excellent condition. - Route Navigation:
Follow delivery routes provided by the dispatcher and adapt to any changes or updates during the day. Use GPS systems to navigate efficiently. - Order Accuracy:
Verify that orders are accurate and complete before departure. Ensure all items are properly packed and safely secured in your vehicle. - Communication:
Keep in contact with the dispatch team to report any issues, delays, or changes in delivery status. Update the system with real-time delivery information. - Payment Collection (if applicable):
Collect payments from customers for deliveries when required and follow company procedures for handling cash or card transactions.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Basic knowledge of using GPS and mobile devices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions
- Own vehicle (compensation provided for fuel and maintenance)
