With strong ties to both domestic and Chinese-speaking business communities, we are seeking a highly skilled Mandarin-speaking CPA to support financial reporting, tax strategy, and cross-border business operations.
Position Overview
The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role requires fluency in Mandarin to support communications with Chinese-speaking clients, vendors, and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage corporate tax planning and compliance (federal and Texas state)
- Coordinate audits and oversee internal controls
- Support cross-border transactions and international accounting matters
- Communicate financial insights to Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
- Assist leadership with forecasting, budgeting, and financial strategy
- Ensure compliance with IRS and Texas regulations
Qualifications
- Active CPA license (Texas preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred)
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code and GAAP
- Experience with international or import/export accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of international tax structuring
