Job Description
Radiologic Technologist – Night Shift
Location: Mount Pleasant, WI 53177
Job Type: Contract
Assignment Dates: February 25 – May 19, 2026
Schedule:
- Hours: 36 hours/week
- Shift: 12-hour Night Shift
- Schedule:
- Friday: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM
- On Call: None (optional if traveler wants extra shifts)
- Weekend Rotation: Weekend-only assignment
- Holidays: If they fall on Sat/Sun/Mon
- Floating: None (except portable exams within the hospital)
Facility Overview:
- 60-bed community hospital
- Level III Trauma Center
- Located outside Racine, WI
- COVID vaccine required
- Calm overnight workflow compared to metro facilities — but you must be independent
Position Summary:
Seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to support overnight diagnostic imaging needs. This role focuses primarily on general radiography and portables, with limited fluoro on the third shift.
Patient Population:
- Inpatient
- Outpatient
- Emergency Department
- Some pediatrics (mostly adult population)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
Required Experience & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years Radiology experience
- ARRT required
- BLS required
- Wisconsin license required (must obtain if not active)
- First-time travelers accepted with a strong background
Required Skills:
- Chest X-rays
- Long bone X-rays
- Portable imaging
- OR and surgical cases
- C-arm experience
- Limited fluoroscopy
Technology & Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC
- PACS: McKesson (preferred)
- Portables: Canon
- Fluoro: GE
- C-arms: OEC
- Diagnostic Rooms: Dell with Canon plates
- Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
Unit Support:
- Transport available 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Respiratory Therapy 24/7
- Hospitalist 24/7
- Nights require independence once transport coverage ends
Orientation:
- 2–3 days, based on comfort level and experience
Additional Details:
- Scrubs: Any color (professional)
- Parking: Free
- Floating: Portables throughout the hospital, including OR and ED
