Location: Brockton, MA
Our organization is actively seeking full-time Addiction Psychiatrists to deliver outpatient and/or residential services at our Brockton and Jamaica Plain facilities. As a leading center for medical research and a referral hospital in New England, we maintain strong academic partnerships with prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine.
We have two openings at the Jamaica Plain campus, which will involve a combination of direct clinical responsibilities in residential and transitional care settings, outpatient substance use clinics, and a methadone clinic. Additional duties may include teaching and supervising trainees, such as medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities for site directorship of addiction training for residents, administrative roles, and engagement in academic pursuits, including research, are also available. An academic faculty position will be supported at either Harvard Medical School or Boston University School of Medicine.

The ideal candidate will enjoy a balanced role that includes direct clinical care, teaching, and supervising psychiatry residents and medical students. The academic appointment level—Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor—will be determined based on experience, training, and accomplishments. This position offers a highly competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and eligibility for up to $200,000 in Educational Debt Reduction, along with a potential $10,000 Recruitment/Relocation Incentive.
Requirements:
- Board Eligible in General Psychiatry and/or board certified in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine
- A strong commitment to serving Veterans
- Excellent clinical, supervisory, and interpersonal skills
- A desire to collaborate within an exceptional interprofessional team
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
