Schedule:
- Days: 07:00-19:00
- Mids: 11:00-23:00
- Nights: 19:00-07:00
- Every 3rd weekend rotation
- No on-call, assigned holidays per rotation
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license with minimum 2 years of ER experience (any trauma level)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficient with Cerner EMR (preferred), IV starts, foleys, NG tube insertion, neuro assessment, and triage
- Demonstrated competency in initiating/titrating drips, sedation, and assisting with bedside procedures
- Adept at managing varied patient populations—infant through geriatric—including critical, behavioral health, and trauma cases
- Strong communication, leadership, and adaptability; comfortable being an ER resource and subject matter expert
- Must not be a first-time traveler
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care for a wide range of conditions, including heart failure, GI, trauma, sepsis, and critical pediatric stabilization
- Handle a patient ratio of 1:4-5, working collaboratively with 24/7 charge nurse and provider support
- Lead emergency care interventions, initiate codes, and triage effectively in a busy, learning-rich environment
- Employ advanced clinical skills to support bedside procedures, critical infusions, and rapid patient assessments
