We are seeking a skilled and dependable Phlebotomist to assist with efficient specimen collection and processing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws, ensuring accurate specimen handling, and providing excellent patient care while following laboratory and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws and label specimens accurately
- Collect, handle, store, and process specimens per established procedures
- Centrifuge specimens and document maintenance data
- Decontaminate work areas and maintain safety standards
- Verify and update patient information
- Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures clearly to patients
- Demonstrate proficiency using straight and butterfly needles
- Match laboratory requisition forms accurately with specimen tubes
- Label, split, centrifuge, and freeze specimens according to test orders
- Follow physicians’ orders and laboratory protocols precisely

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Largo, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
