Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An elementary school in Anderson, SC, is seeking a per diem School Psychologist to provide specialized support for students during the contract school year (CSY). This position offers flexible hours ranging from 4 to 8 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting Eligibility Meetings and assessments, including Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and meetings
- Managing a caseload of approximately 5 students
- Providing expertise in learning disabilities to support student success
- Performing all duties onsite to collaborate effectively with school staff
Qualifications:
- Licensed or credentialed as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Skilled in conducting FBAs, eligibility evaluations, and preparing documentation for IEPs
- Familiarity with learning disabilities and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
