Job Title: CNC Specialist
We are seeking a skilled CNC Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes while ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency throughout the machining process. This role requires a strong understanding of machining technology, blueprint interpretation, CNC programming concepts, and precision inspection techniques.
Key Responsibilities:

Review job orders and collaborate with CNC Programmers to determine the most efficient machining process.

Set up and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes by installing tooling, calibrating equipment, and verifying machine readiness.

Monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet quality standards, specifications, and tolerances.

Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and GD&T requirements.

Troubleshoot machine issues, perform routine maintenance, and optimize machining processes to improve productivity.

Work closely with engineering teams to support CNC programming modifications and process improvements using Fanuc controls or similar systems.

Follow lean manufacturing practices while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming concepts.

Experience with Fanuc controls is highly preferred.

Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.

Familiarity with CAM programming and toolpath generation.

Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and GD&T.

Strong knowledge of tooling, machining practices, EDM, and precision measuring instruments.

Excellent mathematical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality precision components.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
