FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Green Brook is a locally owned clinic seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Staff Physical Therapist to join our team of professionals. We don’t believe in impersonal care and PTs trying to see 4 patients at a time like some other clinics. Our 40-minute one-on-one appointments allow our therapists to give their full attention to each patient, delivering a better experience for both the patient and the team. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
- Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
- Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date
- Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress
- Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
- Examine and evaluate new patients
- Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
- Establish a plan goal and time frame
- Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
- Measure and track intervention effectiveness
- Educate the patient on continuing care
- Other duties as assigned
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- Accredited PT program graduate
- Active NJ state PT license in good standing
- BLS Certification
- 1+ year(s) of experience preferred but not required – new grads welcome!
- Ability to create and implement outpatient treatment plans
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
- Must be passionate about helping patients who have vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall risk issues
- Must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in an outpatient setting
- Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
